Just so you all know, I am not well. It started at the end of July with a croaky voice followed by a cough. I just thought it was a virus. The coughing got worse and then I started getting pain in my chest. I had an x ray and blood tests yesterday and they think it could be pleurisy or a blood clot.

Hopefully, it isn't a serious ailment.
Let us know what the blood tests reveal.

Thank you for all the well wishes. Just got out of hospital. I went in on Friday morning and out lunchtime today (Tuesday) I was treated for a bad pneumonia but it is atypical as some symptoms are not characteristic. I have been on intravenous antibiotics, I also had three ECGs and was on a saline drip. I now have five days of tablet antibiotics. I will have a follow up at the respiratory clinic in 6 weeks time to see if there is an underlying cause.

Glad to know you are doing better!
BLAH to the hospitalization.
I hope the AG dust isn't adding to your condition.

Glad to know you are doing better! BLAH to the hospitalization. I hope the AG dust isn't adding to your condition. When I moved into my new home recently, I had new dark laminate put in the living room where the birds are, OMG, I never realized HOW MUCH DANDER a CAG and one little quaker put out. That floor really shows, and I clean daily, the breathing is really a concern.

Hubby and I have recently been immunized against pneumonia. That is a nasty illness we don't want.
Get well soon.

They were critical of me giving Beaker an air bath till they saw the crap coming off of him.

I vacuum frequently and yet after all these years even the vacuum still a 'monster' to Sid. No way would he let me air bath him.

Beaker is a great sport about it, I think it helps keep him healthy as well.
The way they are always preening I know he doesn't get a snootful as his nose is not blocked by buildup.
