Scratchpost: We have a lot of Ibis in our area and Aka replicates the sound perfectly. He copies them when they fly over head but I can see he gets confused when they don't speak back to him. Aug 3, 2023 5:27:32 GMT -7

Jane: No he has never talked. He does a lot of squawking instead (he is very loud) and he understands what I am saying to him. I am surprised that Mitzi has never imitated him. Aug 13, 2023 5:53:20 GMT -7

Jane: A garden spider had made a large web but a thin blade of grass about 4 inches long had fluttered into it. The spider soon realised there was something alien in the web and it was not its next meal. Sept 6, 2023 3:25:49 GMT -7

Jane: The spider started at one end of the blade of grass and carefully worked its way all along the length, cutting the grass out of the web bit by bit until it fell to the ground. It was pretty amazing. Sept 6, 2023 3:26:06 GMT -7 *

Adele: I scolded some kids when walking my two to school. They were throwing stones at a pair of geese on the roof of a building. The geese looked quite confused and flustered and were hollering a lot. I asked the kids if they want someone throw rocks at them. Sept 7, 2023 10:52:30 GMT -7

Adele: We moved 1.5 yrs ago, and there's a lot more water fowl in our area (there's a lot more parks here), as well as feral Amazon parrots. I really like it. Sept 7, 2023 10:53:31 GMT -7

Jane: There are wild Ringneck parakeets in various places in the UK although I haven't seen any where I live. Sept 8, 2023 0:55:06 GMT -7

beakertrout: We have what is called the "Palos Verdes" parrots. An aviary burned down many years ago and they escaped and thrived. Sept 8, 2023 7:53:48 GMT -7
