Ha ha ! I'm suddenly like that now. Sinse having Charlie (AG), mostly every day I do research on parrots of all kinds. When I'm in work and I call my Mum just for a chat I always ask how Charlie is, is he eating, has he talked, it feels as though I have another Sibbling in the family ! It deffintly is a fever, I'm going on holiday next November, and I'm already faffing about Charlie i.e who will look after him when we go away ! I'm attached to them now, and I honestly don't think I couldn't NOT have an AG around the house, I never used to be interested in parrots !

I only have a TAG right now, and figure I have time/money/space for one more bird someday. The problem is, deciding which kind to get. I would love to have a senegal, a canary, a lovebird, a pionus, or a meyer's. Or maybe a second TAG or a CAG. Or some kind of macaw, although realistically, that one will never happen.
Nikko seems content to be an only bird right now, so I probably won't decide for awhile. Although I still think a lot about the CAG I met at the bird rescue. I wonder if anyone's adopted that sweetheart yet?

Traci, I know how you feel as well. I spend allot of my free time at the pet store and they have a Macaw there that someone left as a boarder and never came back for. I think its a green wing. It is so playful, I took it out of its cage today and it will lay on its back while you rub its belly. The pet store can't sell the bird for a year incase the owner comes back to claim it. I would love to have a Macaw but I have my hands full now with my 3 birds.

We have a quaker and a grey and a labrador retriever ... Although I would love another grey, I just don't have the time to add another pet to our home without taking away from the ones we have. I belong to a quaker forum and we refer to the desire to continue to add birds to your family as: MBS -- Multiple bird syndrome ... It's contagious and there is no cure!

Know what you mean..... I was terrified of birds, I now have 2 AGs- they are my world! My Mom started with 1 TAG a year ago, she now has 49 birds! Most of them are breeders, though. She has everything from lovebirds-amazons-eclectus-blue and gold- scarlets-congos- you name it, she's got it! Especially the fever!!
