A study by Glasgow University has shown that pet parrots enjoy having live video chats rather than listening to recorded messages, showing they know the difference between the two. They were taught to make video calls using Facebook Messenger and showed behaviours that they would engage in with other parrots in real life, which wasn't the case in pre-recorded sessions. This could lead to parrots using the internet on platforms such as Zoom to interact with each other.
I would imagine they would also have to be taught that laptops and other devices are not for chewing up.

Parrots seem to think it's their right to destroy things. That includes laptops etc.
