Mine have had a Kings cage since around 2000 and it has little swing out doors with the food bowl hoops attached to them. The bowls fit exactly and I have never found any alternative bowls which fit. The bowls have started to be a bit stiff to get in and out and one of the doors keep coming completely off when I am getting the bowl out. I have been able to get it back okay so far but I am worried that one day I won't, or the hinges might snap off. I do have stainless steel bowls which fit snuggly inside the existing bowls so I have been doing that with Mitzi's food bowl. Then I can just lift that one in and out and keep the original bowl in place. You can't tell there is a bowl within a bowl. Of course, Mitzi can tell, having watched what I am doing and she tries to lift the inner bowl out of the outer bowl.

That is what I pictured - Mitzi taking out the inner bowl and tossing food everywhere.

Fortunately she can't get sufficient grip on it to get it out although she likes the noise it makes when she tries.

I have a KINGS cage for Beaker as well.
I don't use the doors, I just have heavy ceramic bowls I put in the cage on the grate.
KINGS was not thinking when they used plastic latches on the feed doors.
Beaker destroyed those the first week.

Mitzi has chewed a lot of the powder coating off the bars. I don't think Kings cages can be bought here nowadays, pet shops don't sell cages for birds anymore and the only Kings cages I have seen online are the aluminium ones that cost over £1000.
