Aka and I have a thing where he joins me in the shower (in his travel/sleep cage on the closed toilet seat) and then I let him walk on the bed when I am getting dressed after the shower.
Recently, he has decided that that means the bed is his property, and doesn't like it when he sees items that he didn't put there. As soon as he climbs onto the bed from the cage, he starts pushing the stuff (his bed blanket, my clothes, the pillows, etc.) off because it is his space. He tried pushing his sleep/travel cage off but decided it was too heavy so he threw the water bowl on the floor instead.
This bed possession extends to me as well apparently because when I sat on the bed (with my clothes on after the shower thank God), he started pulling at my jeans to the side as if to pull them (and me) off the bed. He also nipped at my arms when they came close to the top of the bed. The minute I put something on the bed he runs towards it, raises his wings and flings it off (if it isn't heavier than him).
It was so cute, but now I can't put anything on the bed when he's on it or it will end up on the floor or become a colander will lots of hole's, like my socks I accidentally left in his reach.

That is funny. They can be territorial though. Either that or he is being ultra tidy and doesn't want anything on the bed!

Hi Jane,
Yes, I have noticed he has become a bit territorial in the past few weeks. His toys in his cage are a no-go entirely, I sometimes brush past them when I take my hand out of the cage after scratching him and he bites softly to let me know that it's his toy, and he also makes a point of playing with it for a long while when my hand is out of the cage. I didn't think that would extend to the stuff on the bed though, but I guess possessiveness doesn't really discriminate haha.
Haha if only he was ultra tidy! Then he wouldn't make such a mess with his hay at the bottom of the cage haha.

It also seems to be breedy season. Manzi used to be particularly unbearable during this time, but his place was the bathroom. He would attack anything that went into the bathroom, or anything left in there. I had to remove the trashcan, cause he would often dump it over and try to push it out, making a big mess during the process. He would attack visitors trying to use the bathroom, and even go after my feet in there. I finally hung a scary human sized paper skeleton (an old halloween decoration) over the door to keep him away. It did work, although he hated it!!
Seems your guy has taken ownership of the bed!! They are finicky little creatures.
