Hi all,

My kookie has a pink like a blush in the white area around his eye. (left side)

I'm really concerned because its been more than 4 days. I've been watching him he is energetic and all normal no scratching or anything but the blush is still there..

I want to take him to vet soon but vets here are so untrustworthy..

Hello and welcome to the forum.

They can blush when they are stressed and that affects the whole of the bare white area around the eye but it seems odd if it is just one eye and all the time.
Has he bumped or scratched himself at all in that area?

Can you share a photo of it? Manzi used to always get scratches around his eyes (from beating up his toys) and even a small amount of swelling, but they would get better in a few days.

The fact that he's acting totally normal though is a really good sign.

Once Manzi had a little swelling inside the very corner of his beak, where it attaches to his face. I felt it, and pressed lightly on it, then puss came out of the edge. Manzi didn't seem to care at all though. I watched it closely, and within a couple days it looked all better. That scared me, but I had a neighbor who was a vet. He took a look and said it was fine.
