I was reading an article about therapy animals who help people in various situations. For example, a boa constrictor called Connie specialising in psychiatric units, a bearded dragon called Barbara specialising in special needs schools, a donkey called Millie specialising in care homes, a tree frog called Wubble specialising in a children's hospice and a gecko called Lily specialising in disabled children and adults. All the animals are very friendly and can be touched and held.

If someone brought a boa constrictor near me, I would need psychiatric care! I am terrified of snakes.

It says Connie the boa is a very loving and friendly animal. She weighs four stone and is eight feet long. She likes to be cuddled and shows her affection by gently curling round your shoulders and blowing air into your ear. Apparently the weight of her on your shoulders is calming, like a weighted blanket. Four stone! After she has done her day's therapy she enjoys a rat for her dinner. Jane

There are plenty of animals I would like to cuddle. I see a snake and I am gone!
