To get a better handle on my diabetes I am going to try a food delivery service that has a special menu for diabetics.
Anyone else on here have any experience with such a service?
I am ordering a lunch-dinner menu for a week as a trial.
The reviews seem to be good.

My daughter tried one where they ship the food with instructions on how to prepare it. She said it actually takes twice as long to prepare than they say. If they say 30 minutes prep time, it actually takes an hour.
Another person mentioned that the portions are too small.

From what I found, a lot of the diabetic focused meals are "small" portions.
This is probably because in general, diabetics can stand to lose a few pounds.
The service I am looking at provides all the meals cooked and in plastic.
Just oven or microwave.
Thanks for your info.

That sounds handy for you to not have to do any cooking. I hope it works well for you.

Funnily enough a brochure came through my door yesterday for frozen meals delivered to your door ready to cook in the oven or microwave. There are photos of them displayed on plates and they look really nice but I doubt the actual meals will be as good. There are food stylists who know how to present food for brochures. I haven't tried them but the online reviews are good. The meals are around £5 to £6 each and there are also mini meals at around £3 to £4 each.
