Hi there,
So we repaint our dining room table about once a year with fabric paint and not wood paint because it's easier to get off and I like changing the colours. I used this paint before we got Aka and it says it's non-toxic, but non-toxic for children vs non-toxic for parrots are two different things. I will attach the link, but it says no solvents, no fumes etc.
To be safe I will paint it outside and leave it to air for about a week just in case. I have asked about fabric paint before, but this is a little different because there will be a lot more paint than on the piece of material I wanted to use. Aka doesn't bite the table so I don't think I have to worry about him eating the paint, but he's a parrot and the table is wood so....
I don't have to heat set it because it binds to the wood quite quickly so there won't be any heat-related smells.
Do you know this product or brand? Thanks

I don't know that product but it seems to have undergone a rigorous standard for non toxicity.
I have used chalk paint and Crown Breatheasy paint. Both are water based.

Hi Jane, Great thanks I'll check my options for all types when the time comes.
Edit- Hmm they don't sell the Crown Breatheasy paint in the country. I'll look at the chalk paint or the original fabric paint I posted.
