My son was holding Beaker upside down in his hand, one of his favorite positions.
We started talking about the day and all of a sudden Beaker lets out this yell like he has a foot caught in a door.
What a character, it was because my son wasn't paying attention to him is all.

Sheeba will want all the attention when company comes over, if she's not with the group, she has to let us know and it's much easier and quieter to have her with everybody.

That's hilarious!! Manzi used to do that when it was just me and him, and I'd be on a phone call. Once he started screaming so loudly that the person on the phone thought there was some kind of emergency at my house. I was like, "Um no, it is just my parrot wanting attention!"

Beaker is spoiled. He was being held, it was the loss of eye contact and my son and I talking without him included that caused the squawk.
Funny as hell.

When I am speaking on the phone with Chy on my arm, she will speak into the phone so I have to explain that it is the bird. She uses my voice so it confuses the person I am speaking with.
If she is not on my arm, she will sound like a ringing phone. The person I am speaking with will ask if I need to answer the other line.

I cannot speak on the phone with Beaker on me.
He thinks that gives him free reign to attack me or the phone and it doesn't matter who gets it first.

Greys can be so jealous.
I can't speak on the phone if I am holding Mitzi either. She bites me hard if I do.
