Last night, when we covered Maui and went to bed, she did some whistling. This is highly unusual as once she's covered, she never makes any noise until either the kids wake up, or she is uncovered.
So I was laying in bed and heard her whistling a bit. I got up to check if we had left any lights on. Once she whistled when we accidentally left the hallway light on. I couldn't find anything and went back to bed. She only whistled for a few more minutes, then gave up. This morning, she began whistling before we got out of bed, which is also quite unusual.
This morning I finally figured it out. The air filter we always keep on by her cage was turned off. That happens because either our kids unplugged it, or cause I turned it off to clean it out and forgot to turn it back on. I turned it back on and Maui is looking at me like, "See, I was trying to tell you!!"

Maui was certainly letting you know!
Mitzi always says "the Hoover" when she thinks I will be about to use it.
