Mitzi likes to lie on my lap on her back. Sometimes I play a game with her called "The Tooties game".
I get hold of her feet and lift her quickly up in the air and back down again accompanied by me going: "wheeee" (I ask her first if she wants to play The Tooties game). She lets me do this two or three times and then she forcefully removes her feet.
I am not sure whether she likes the game but only on her own terms or she doesn't really like the game at all but is just letting me do it to keep me happy.

That's cute. My wife likes to do similar things with Ruby like grabbing and hugging her, giving her kisses on her back. Ruby will act like she doesn't want it initially but eventually submits. I can't tell if she likes it or hates it but she never bites or tries very hard to get away.

I often wonder about this too, like whether or not they like something. I imagine that if they like you, then any attention you give them, they like. Until they are done, and let you know.
Maui is a lot more subtle about what she likes and doesn't like. If she doesn't like something I do, she's quite polite and will make a little noise and back away. Then when she's ready for more attention, she'll creep back up, with her head down asking for scratches.

I have found that if Beaker doesn't like something, he lets you know.
