I got a pop up pet pool. It is meant for dogs but I thought it might be useful for Monty to play in as he has problems with his feet and can't fly, also I could put him in it to spray him.
It is quite big and a bright teal colour so I thought I would have problems getting it into the room once Mitzi saw it. However, she didn't bat an eyelid! I put Monty in it and Mitzi was clearly interested so I asked her if she wanted to go in and she did. She waddled up to Monty and gave him a kiss. I sprayed them both.
The only trouble is I can't work out how to fold it up again, it seems to require getting hold of the top and bottom frame, crossing your hands over and gathering the frame into loops.

The way it folds up sounds like the hair catcher I put around hubby's neck when I cut his hair. You will get the hang of it soon.
I wish I could get Chy to go in water without me bleeding. She grips me so hard when I try to put her in water. I just resort to spraying her.

Jane, can you please post a picture (or link) of the pool Jane? I'm curious about that as well.
It sounds like the folding mechanism is the same as windshield protectors in cars, where the metal hoops fold into 3 smaller hoops. There are youtube videos showing how to fold those.
Sounds really cute that Mitzi wanted into the pool. Sometimes, these guys don't react at all how we anticipate. How deep did you put the water? Thanks.

Jane I can't help you figure out how to fold up that pool but am I reminded of this classic scene from Mr. Rogers: Maybe there's a life-lesson you are about to teach Mitzi and Monty.

That is funny. It is a similar scenario here, I have been wrestling with a contraption that has a mind of its own. I have resorted to looking on youtube and have finally succeeded in getting it back into the bag after they all said to first turn the pool upside down. My instructions didn't say that although I am not sure how crucial it is. It is back in the bag (most of it is anyway, I can't do all of the zip up) and I am not sure I will be getting it out again!
