It is very hot in LA and for some reason (hormones?) Beaker decided it was just fine to start yelling @ 7:30 am.
He got covered up twice with some success, but then he would start up again.
At 9 am I had reached my limit and although I try not to make it like a punishment, he got a wet bath.
I took him outside on the patio and he got a nice spritz.
He is very quiet now, and very wet.

It has been super hot in LA!!!! I've been spraying my chickens with water as I don't want them to over heat. Today, I didn't even let my two CAGs go into their outdoor aviary. I hope it cools down soon!

It seems to be super hot everywhere this summer. We went through a big heatwave. After tornado warnings and thunderstorms, it has cooled down but is expected to heat up again soon.

Monty loves getting wet, Mitzi less so.
I read that a temperature of 54.4C (130F) had been recorded in California.
We had a heatwave here which saw the highest temperature on six consecutive days since the 1960s.

What is a heatwave in the UK? Like 29C for several days?

It was over 36C and very humid. Apparently the 7th August was the hottest August day since 2003. (The UK isn't very good at coping with extremes of temperature, homes generally don't have air conditioning and a few inches of snow in the winter causes the country to grind to a halt) Everything was melting, I had some Lindt Lindor Truffles and they were completely liquid inside which made them rather interesting!
