I just found the best new cleaning assistant, it is called an Eye Vac Pet, it's about 15 inches tall and 10 inches wide. I plugged it in the bird area and when ever I see a new bunch of feather or mess I just sweep it towards the motion detected Eye Vac and it sucks it right up. No more getting the vacuum out 5 times a day. Wish I found this sooner, The birds are not even afraid of it. Infact when Sid sees me turn it on he says' Ohhhhh'. Too funny.

I just Googled it and saw it on youtube. Looks good. My vacuum cleaner is always out, especially since Mitzi started throwing food out of the bowls.

We bought a Dyson stick vac just to clean up around the bird cage. It is cordless and hangs on the wall so it's very handy.

I use a cordless vac around the cage as well, and use it about 4 times per day. I should look up that other vacuum. That sounds great.

I have a small broom and dust pan near the birdcage, it gets used several times a day. Plus Sheeba likes to climb down and knock them around and yell at them!
