Hi all attached is a link to my new birds behavior . I adopted this bird about 3 weeks ago from a home who had a small cage and never really saw him . I have a 1 year old grey who has not shown this behavior. I took it as excitement but looking for other opinions . Thank you in advance and ignore my annoying voice lol . I attached the link so maybe copy and paste if it won’t work ? Thanks .

Definitely a happy dance.
Looks like mating behavior to me.

Yes, it is mating behaviour.
I notice he has some red factor in him - the red feathers in his neck but they look like they are sticking out a bit? (It might just look that way in the video because they are a different colour).

Beaker would do something similar when playing on the back of the couch with me.
I would try to discourage him with a warning about barfing and would even get up and leave.

He is so beautiful, thank you for taking him in, yes I agree, he is trying to mate with you. Definitely discourage nicely. Just refocus him like you did in the video by stepping up. My sid also has a red factor, they are very special, but then aren't they all?

That grey is in love!! Whew! Try to distract him/her with some other activity.
