Hello Folks, Currently looking for a large perch swing for my cag pumkin, have one given to me as a gift some years ago by a friend And now it's pretty beat up and my friend doesn't remember where she purchased it, been to numerous sites and can't find it, just cheap ones that my Bird would destroy in a couple of minutes.any sites that specializes in African Greys or other big birds would be appreciated.

I suppose it might have been discontinued. I have found over the years that items get discontinued and it is often the best ones that you can't buy again.

Thanks Jane, I checked out that website with no luck, However this is the pic of the swing that I'm looking for I've checked a lot of websites but still haven't found it. it's the rectangle Perch swing in the middle. Thanks I usually have decent luck tracking down hard to find items by using the Images option of Google. In addition to helping find a specific item, you'll also quickly see many alternatives, some you may not have thought of. Your swing does seem to be fairly rare. I only found one that looks similar, and that's at a UK store, here: Scarletts . I've learned from experience you want to confirm and compare sizes before ordering. The stock store images can be misleading in that regard. I appreciate you may be looking for an exact replacement, however.... I bought a few pricey swings and toys in the beginning, but ended up just making my own creations out of a combination of wood, stainless screws/hardware, and/or plastic wire ties. That way I can make stuff just the size and shape I want, and even redo it if I don't get it right the first time. I've found plastic wire ties to be amazingly handy for these projects. I like the ones that are about medium size. Because Parrots love to chew, I'll use different types of wood, depending on the goal. Sometimes, I'll use cheap and soft pine, knowing that it's not going to last a real long time. destroying pine items gives Jax great satisfaction. If I want something to last, I'll typically use oak, which I've found to be fairly resilient in a hostile parrot environment. Herm
