Hello -
I have recently taken ownership of my mom's grey. He's just gone through a huge change.. new house, new people, new pets, etc.. I expect him to take a bit of time to get adjusted.
I'm still trying to figure out the best location for his cage. I work from home, but am outside with the animals a lot so I thought maybe near one of the back windows where he can look out, but then on some days that area can get quite a bit of sun pouring through it, and I don't want it to be too much..
so I guess my questions are... what can I do to ease his transition, and will me moving his cage between 2 different places in the same room just add to his stress or should I just find one place for a while?
Thank you. I appreciate any suggestions.

Welcome.
If the sun comes pouring in, just make sure there is a place or several where the bird can seek shade.

I remember thinking that I would move the cage inside and outside on the porch for nice days. In the end, I just bought two cages. For indoors, you may consider a playstand so he can go to both locations. One on his cage, and then to the other location on his playstand.
