Recent question about red feathers on the wings of a CAG reminded me of a question. Ruby has pretty normal coloration for a timneh - dark maroon/brown tail feathers with the darker beak and face (compared to a Congo). Everything else is the beautiful white/grey "scallops" feathering - these birds really are beautiful.
The only thing that is a little different is on her breast she has an area of brown-ish coloration - it's almost bronze in color. I can share a picture but was curious if that's typical - I haven't seen any mention of this detail in various articles I've read on-line.
Thx!
Chris
