Cool!
Where do you give the air bath so the dust doesn't go all over the house?

That sounds like you live somewhere warm. If I tried that with Chyloe, I would be blowing icicles off her as it is rather cold in Canada right now.

Mine make a lot of dust. I have an air purifier and when it needs cleaning it is amazing how much it has collected, I could bag it up and sell it as talcum powder! It still doesn't collect all the dust they make though.

I can tell you that I notice Beaker's nostrils are not as full of dust as others. He seems to enjoy being dust free for the short amount of time he is.

Thanks! The air bath is the result of a lot of patience and trust I earned over the course of at least a year. First, Beaks had to get used to the sound of the air compressor turning on, which can give one a start. Then, he got used to seeing me use the air to sweep out the garage and blow crap out of my hair as he sat on my shoulder. Finally he got used to the nozzle being pointed at him and blowing air on him. Now, he gets an air bath once a week. He seems to tolerate it very well and his plumage looks great.

Beaker is getting wise to the fact he gets an air bath on the weekend.
Today (sunday) he stayed in his cage most of the day, I think because he didn't get his air bath on saturday.
However, he came out and got on my hand (later in the day) and ZOOM, off to the garage.
He was looking at me like,"Damn, I thought you forgot".
After that he was out of the cage, on the floor and pretty much everywhere he usually goes.
They are a lot smarter then people give them credit.
I figured he just wasn't in the mood, as he doesn't throw a fuss or bite when he gets one.
