Hello, I have some great news about my Congo African Grey Parrot named Tecumseh. He has recently been using sentences when he speaks. Some examples are:"Xan is the mentor, Tecumseh is the protege." and "Gotta go where to Mom.". I have one question. Do any of your African Grey Parrots use sentences when they speak?

Sheeba knows a few sentences, "What are you doing over there, hmm?" "Boomer's a good boy"(Boomer is my son's black lab), "No biting" , "I love you" , "I love a pretty girl" . She can ramble on and on in some unintelligible parrot language, always ending in laughter.

Chyloe started talking in sentences when she was only 5 months old. I think her first sentence was, "I love you". She will say her name, address and telephone number. She also sings several songs. The other day she came into the kitchen and I asked her if she was coming to see me. She said, "No, I'm going to see Daddy". Then she walked past me, went up to my husband and said, "Hello my darling".
Sometimes, she acts more like a child than a bird.

Hello, Both Sheeba and Chyloe seem to be very intelligent and sweet birds. I am very proud of both birds. Thank you very much for the wonderful news.
