Hi! How are you guys? Are you enjoying your greys?
My oldest grey is 28 this year and I've had him for almost his whole life. I have been a grey breeder and I have written a book on greys. I have been a certified parrot behavior consultant, but I am also a single parent of 13 year old twins and keeping up with work and parenting and everything else has made it so that I could not travel to the different events that were required to keep up my certification.
I'm looking forward to sharing stories!

That's quite a list of animals. I've always been in awe of toucans. Do you have some photos?
Welcome to the forum.
I have a 29 year old grey, but I've only had her for 5 years now. Is Bob a congo or timneh?

Bob is a red-tailed grey (If I say "Congo", my friend Jean Pattison will find me and throttle me!) I have LOTS and LOTs and LOTS of pictures (just warning you! ) Zulu.... we have had her for 12 years and she was about 4 or 5 when we got her. The average lifespan for a toucan in a home is 6-7 years. In a zoo it's 20 years. Evidently my house closely resembles a zoo. Her beak is not cracked... that is normal growth that would probably be worn down if she were hollowing out a tree for breeding.
