Rocky came home on Saturday! He is absolutely ADORABLE!!!!! OMG! He has not been clipped so because he has his wings I was worried about having him out on the ride home...but I just couldn't stand the fear in his eyes being locked in his cage while we were driving....sooooo....I ended up slowly but surely getting him out and he happily sat in my lap for the whole drive home looking out the front windshield from the middle back seat. I'm not sure how many pictures I can put on here but I have A LOT! LOL He LOVES to snuggle, I'm not sure if its because he is a baby or if he will always love snuggling, but I love it! I'm not sure which of us enjoys the snuggling more, in fact. Sunday I was showing him how to play with a tongue depressor by holding it with my teeth and flicking it with my fingers...he wanted it so badly that he started making the most adorable baby "uh uh uh" sounds! Oh WOW! I had no idea they could be this adorable!!!! We spend all day together in my "home" office where I have several perches set up for him. His flying scared me a bit the first couple of days...or should I say crashing...but he is improving in leaps and bounds, he practices flying all over my office in spurts throughout the day but mostly he prefers to be on the stacked plastics "shelves" on my desk where he can be closest to me but not in my way.

Does anybody have some ideas for games to play with him? As much as I love to snuggle with him I'm not sure what other fun ways I can handle him....I'm not sure if I'm making any sense but I basically want him to feel completely comfortable with my hands being anywhere on his body, lifting his wings, hanging upside down, laying on his back.... So are there ways I can do that and make it fun for him? BTW his hatch date was 1/13/13 so he is about 13.5 wks. Just for kicks...here is a pic of Tweet Riding one of our Great Danes LOL

We all know the thrill of bringing our new baby home. They are so adorable. My Chy would run up my body to snuggle under my chin. These days, she is content to sit on my arm while I am reading or on the computer. I give her neck scratches, hugs and kisses.
You are going to have so much fun with him.

WOW! He's certainly got a whole new world of wonderful things to entertain himself with! And i just LOVE the pic of the little green one on the dane. I must say i wish i could convince lucky to ride on either of my two danes. that would be a hoot.
Games - well, honestly, at the moment, it sounds like he's got plenty to keep his head busy already, but beakertrout (who posts here quite regularly) has really done wonders with playing with his boy. He might have some good ideas for you.

Rocky acted so excited to see me when I came to greet him this morning! It was awesome! I figured he must be ready for something new so we met the mirror this morning while I was brushing my teeth. It was hilarious, he was making this "uh uh uh" sound at the mirror but that dang bird just kept copying everything he was doing LOL. So he tried stretching, and that bird stretched too, then he made himself taller, but dangit the other bird got just as tall! So finally he touched it with his beak. He is so adorable!
