Congratulations and welcome to the forum. You are among friends and many here are very knowledgeable about greys. You have made a great choice in a bird as they are loving, loyal and a delight to raise - especially when you get a young one. Come here often with your questions and know they will be answered. Hopefully the breeder will give you some insight on what your baby has been like prior to you getting her and will get you started on the right track. More than anything, relax and enjoy her. You're in for a wonderful time with a great breed.

Welcome to the forum and I'm sure you can't wait to get your baby. You will find the best advice on this feathered family forum than in any parrot book.

Hello and welcome. Since you already have a B&G, you are aware of health hazards such as cleansers, candles, Teflon, ext.
Grays are exceptionally intelligent birds and their comprehension is amazing. We have so much fun with our girls.
I'd just read over prior posts, especially the health issues and foods. Very good information.

Welcome to the forum. You are in for so much fun. Greys are extremely intelligent but very emotional too. I recently put my girl in a big new cage which she did not appreciate. She stopped calling me mommy and instead used my full name the way a parent does when annoyed with a child. She also made up her own curse and said, "Poo on you".
As babies, both my greys would accept anything easily but as they grew older, they became afraid of anything new. It now takes a while for Chyloe to accept anything new.
Let your new baby set the pace. Talk to her and let her get to know you. We are here if you have questions.

To post pics in the gallery you have to register and log in separately from this forum because it is a separate website. You then create an album and upload the photos. You can post photos into an album there straight from your computer though. To post photos on here they have to be on an image hosting website such as photobucket first or you can post them in the gallery and then here.

Best of luck to you and your new baby.
Watch her body language. Fluffed head feathers, etc. The CAGs do let you know if they want attention or not.
What part of CT do you live in? Grant and I both live in CT. I live in Stratford.

How is she doing? Wow, you are in CT also! I've been wanting to go down on the eastern coast and visit Mystic Aquarium.

Well we got home late the baby is beautiful we had about 6 names to pick from and we Put them in a hat and picked out Bella which in Spanish is beautiful so I think it fits her perfect she made all kinds of grunting noises on the way home but with all the traveling she must of been scared so anyways the ride home is about an hour long so when we got her here she did not want to come out but so we took the cage apart and picked her up she tried to bite but not like biting just like nibbling to try to leave her alone but once we got her out she was ok a lil scared but she still has a hard time perching on your fingers she cuddled up let us pet her on the back n head gave her a lil oatmeal she ate some and then she ate like three pieces of cantelope from My hand but she is awsome can not be any happier I don't want to go to work tomorrow :-( lol just want to stay home with her but My daughter loves her and the hubby we all held her for a while so it went good I will post pics when I figure it out and once again thank you for the warm welcome
