Nice to new layout of the board first of all. But my question is. Last night we made a nice large play stand for Jack. He was asleep when we got done so I took it in the room this morning when he was awake. From what I could tell from looking at him he hates it. How can I get him used to it and like to play on it? I know it may take some time, but I need to know where to start at. Thanks.

They are so shy about the prospect of something new!! You have to leave the play stand out where Jack can see it, check it out, stare at it for awhile. You could even try to play with it yourself making it look like it's SOOO FUN!!! Everytime we introduce a new toy to our Zazzy he "poofs up" and makes growling sounds at it, but after awhile his curiousity gets the best of him!

Mitzi is the same with anything new. She once refused to go in the cage because I had put in a new perch that was a slightly different colour to the old one. A couple of days later she was happily sitting on it, the terror of the previous day forgotten. One thing that does work with Mitzi, if all else fails, is bribery. She will do anything for a little bit of biscuit!
