We are going to build cap jack a play stand for when we are in other rooms of the house. My partner was thinking of doing it out of PVC, So I guess the question is this safe for the grey or not. Any problems that we could run into with PVC. We would have to use the glue to hold it all together. Thanks.

Mannie, PVC is harmless unless it catches fire; that being said, do not use primer or glue. Place some masking tape on the end of the pipe, drive it into the fitting with a mallet. I find that the one I built for pete needs a periodic tap here and there to keep it tight. If you go to Pete's Place I think you can see his ladder built from PVC.

Well we are going to embark on the journey of making a playstand for jack. I am not sure if it is going to be wood and pv or all wood. My partner is out getting the stuff for it now. Guess I will know at 7 when i get off work.
