When we first got Monty in 1991 it was clear he had some problems with his feet. Although they looked perfectly normal he had trouble walking on a flat hard surface, and when I picked him up he would grip my hand very hard. He wasn't able to use his feet to hold food either. He has always found climbing around a slow process as well although he always gets where he wants to in the end. In the last couple of years he has started using his feet to hold food. This is an amazing achievement for him and so nice to see him doing it.

It is an awesome step forward. This means more treats he can hold from your hand. He has probably told himself this since 1991: Aut viam inveniam aut faciam! (I will either find a way or make one). Way to go Monty...

They figure it out one way or another. Wyatt finally figured out how to unlatch one of this door latches and squeesed through the other night. Then to get him back in was a bit tricky but we made it right at bed time. Now i have 3 latches on it and I see today they are fiddleing with it. J
