Good heavens ... well first off I would like to say Thanks for taking us along on your trip there ... and secondly ... Good Heavens! I would have had a massive coronary should that have happened to me. I am glad that everything went well in the end. It's a never ending story with our Grey little charges huh? lol

Hello Graham and welcome to the forum. Thank goodness you got her back safe and sound.
(That would make a good storyline for Trumpton - I don't think Trumpton fire brigade ever went to rescue an African Grey in all their adventures!)

Wow, that is a scary story. Thanks for sharing it. Once Manzi flew away and boy did I get upset. Luckily he was waiting on a tree right outside my door the next morning and flew to me as soon as he saw me.
I do flight training with Manzi and so he has gotten stuck in trees before. The most recent time he got stuck about 20-25 feet up and I had my husband climb up the tree to get him down. Manzi also ended up so tangled and hanging upside down like a parachuter. They (AGs) are quite amusing.

Welcome, I'm speachless, and that's quit unusual for me. Except, how much would that balck and white house go for...in the 2nd picture. Keep us posted as you articulate well; makes for a good read.

OMG!! What an adventure Ruby had. I am so happy that you were able to get her down from the tree.
