The other morning we were getting ready to leave work, and one of the guys came in and said theres a sparrow out side looks like its been stepped on or something, Ok I said lets go see, we went out there and there was this tiny dead tired little bird who hadnt been stepped on but was stuck on a melted MARSHMELLOW and couldnt move. Well being me I got the bird up off the sidewalk, took it in the store picking marahmellow off of it got it in the bathroom where it got a bath and 95% of the sticky stuff off, this guys wing was stuck his foot was stuck he wouldve died out there. I cleaned him up to where he flew away from me and i spent another 15 mins chasing him so i could get him back out side, he broke free from me in the store, flying free once again... but he didnt mind me petting his head and playing with his little beak, before that.. it was sooooo cute n little...

Oh the poor little bird, it must have been dreadful for him stuck there like that, thank goodness you were there and able to rescue him. What a happy ending, that's wonderful. Good for you. I always think it is a very precious experience when we get to touch a wild bird. Jane

Absolutely, Jane. Sinse we got Charlie, I have become a Bird fanatic. Always on the watch for birds . . Went to Tunisia in Nove, ber last year. A little bird got into the main hall of our hotel, and I was fascinated by it. It keeps flying into the Window wanting to get out. The waiter seemed to get the little bird as if by magic, gave it to me . . . I had this little bird couped up in my hands, so I went to the front of the hotel and set it free. I LOVED it, and felt all smug whilst walking through the hotel and people seeing what I had in my hands about to set free.
