Our vet told us a story about a man that had a grey, who plucked himself alot. He tried many different things and couldn't seem to get him to stop plucking, so he took him to the vet to see if he could help him and the vet told him to take his bird for a car ride . The man took him for a 30 minute ride in the car every day, and the feather plucking stopped! Just thought this was interesting story to share.

Hi Penny
Imagine if this is the cure for the seemingly unstoppable problem of Grey's plucking themselves. That would be something wouldn't it..

Maybe it was as simple as a change of scenery.

Nikko gets cabin fever and likes a change of scenery. When we get in the car, she clucks and whistles and is very happy.
