Before I joined the forum, I was browsing the FAQ's as a guest. I had to smile at Jane's description of Male and Female. She mentioned not to confuse a silver grey edging on a female with the grey edge of baby tail feathers. By the time I read that, I had already tried to wash Max's baby tail feathers three times thinking they were dirty. That grey just wouldn't wash off. In all the research I did prior to getting a CAG, I never saw any mention of the grey edge on baby tail feathers until I found this forum!

Hahahaha, She taught me the same thing when I suggested that someone stop using an aluminum cage because it was turning their bird's tail black from rubbing against the wires. DOAH!! I think Jane knows Greys better than they do!
