Hearing about the trick of teaching an AG to go on his back inspired me. I decided to make it a nice experience for Manzi. I got out his treats so he knew he was going to get a lesson. I gave him a hand signal and voice command and then turned him on his back. Needless to say, he was not happy with the trick. I then praised him and gave him his reward (a pine nut). He took it from my hand and threw it. I thought that maybe he was not in the mood for pine nuts, but as soon as I asked him to do a trick he already knew, he gobbled it up. After repeating the back trick, he again threw his reward. It was a pretty funny way of him telling me that he is definitely not excited about the new trick. Birds can be so picky!

Yeah, there's definitely no confusion when they let you know what they like and dislike! HA HA
