Our Bozley, a 3 yr. old Tag, just came home 6 days ago now. He is so amazing!!! I hardly know where to start. He's saying "pretty bird" and working on a couple of other phrases that I can't quite understand yet but I know it won't be long before they're loud and clear. He imitates my husbands cough and my laugh. He's such a clown. If one of us is playing on the computer or watching TV and not constantly talking to him, he flies over to sit on our shoulder. (Wings will be clipped ASAP) He's just gotta be in the middle of it all! He doesn't mind the cats or the dog, he just sort of looks at them as if they're just lowly creatures. Quite frankly they don't care about him much either except for the attention they feel they're not getting. Spoiled rotten, ALL of them! He doesn't seem to be as picky as some that I've read about as far as toys and things like that and he lets me move around in his cage all I want without complaint. He hardly even balks at stepping up any more. He won't let me scratch or pet him yet but hopefully that will come soon. Actually I'm not sure if he's even ever had a scratch or pet! I think I should be patient and be thankful for the leaps and bounds we've made in only 6 days! Thanks for listening and God Bless you all! Jeannie & Bozley

Great progress, keep us posted. These are some signature traits of a TAG, you know toys and not skiddish. Being in the center of things is something both species hold dear. Petting will come. Individuality creates a large grey (no pun intended) area between TAGs and CAGs. I have both and Andi (TAG) does some things that are classic CAG, but Pete (CAG) does not. Patience and observation will allow you to know your bird, and your progress shows that. It gets better. Actually, I think we are already blessed, we care for these precious creatures, and some of us have two! Jane and I have hundreds with help from the members here.

BIG DAY TODAY!!! Bozley let me scratch his head!! I was sitting on the sofa today while Boz ran around the back of the sofa, up and down the arm and back and forth playing with my hair and jewelry and such. We were just kinda hanging out talking and he came over and fluffed up (his pretty boy routine) so I stuck my finger up, making a scratching motion, and asked him if he wanted a scratch. He just sort of looked at me so I figured I'd give it a try. I slowly offered my finger, he halfway nibbled on my nail and lo and behold he dropped his head for a scratch! I could hardly contain my self. We did this about 10 times. It was funny because almost each time he would really get into it and then realize he was giving in and straighten up quick. Can't give up all control too soon I guess, it's only been 10 days! Thanks for letting me share! Jeannie & Bozley
