Geez, I am so pathetic. We are getting ready to go out of town for a week, and my husband is taking Sterling to his "vacation home" at Jeffs sisters today... and I feel like a mom who is losing her child. This is ridiculous! I am also a little worried about him since they have 2 dogs and a cat and a 5-year-old child and we have none of those at home. I know it's silly of me to worry though... he has gone there many times in the past (it is his original home) and is fine with everybody. Even the cat and Sterling get along; warily. I will miss the little brat; but will enjoy the break also. Am I the only one who has withdrawal problems?

I felt the same way when I had to leave Manzi, but I was gone for two months. Luckily, that just made Manzi want to be around me more when I returned, but while away, I was constantly worried about my baby. Once again I am gone, but this time for only a month (it will be my last time away from him for any extended period). Since it is much shorter than my last trip I am not so worried, but I still think about him a million times a day. My husband sends me new pictures of him every couple of days which makes me feel much better and I always hear him whistling away when I call home.

Don't feel bad- I went out of town for 2 days back in Feb., and boarded my girls at the petshop where I got one of them; the guy who worked there laughed at me, but I called 4 times a day 'til I got back....
