Hi all,
I'm fairly new to these forums but have been browsing for a few days and notice a lot of people mentioning how much trouble they have getting their grey to bath. Just thought I would share the story of indigo's first bath.
As a few others have described, a few times we have seen her trying to bath in her water bowl with little success but whenever we have tried to spray her with a mist spay she get really angry.
We put a large shallow dish of water in her cage after watching her try to bath in her water bowl again and as expected she ignored it... We persisted and left it in her cage changing the water every day to keep it clean. After 2 weeks we were considering taking it out as all she had tried to do so far was destroy it. But, all of a sudden, I turn arround and she is just stood in the middle of it. Then she starts going crazy in there flapping arround and having great fun. She must have been 'bathing' for 30 mins or more and was soaked through. Virtually the whole room her cage is in was also soaked through! Wallpaper, carpets and all ;D She hasn't had another bath since but I'm hoping she will do soon.
I hope this might help some of you that have been having trouble getting your little guys and girls to bathe!

Andi loves to be spritzed, she scoots to the front at the sight of any squirt bottle.
BTW, there is your avatar, enjoy.
