:)Kasey is back home once again. She is still bald , but her skin has cooled down. She stil kinda acts like she wants to pluck, but there is nothing left to pluck. I tried getting rid of everything that she could be reacting to and that hasn't worked. Her skin got really hot again yesterday when we first got home. I called the doc and I guess it was too hot in here and that seemed to help a lot. I also have to big playgrounds on the way and I ordered her a feather protector suit. Hopefully all of this wil help her! If you guys can think of anything else please let me know.

If birds get too hot because of the surrounding temperature they show it by holding their wings out and panting. Kasey's skin getting hot is a bit of a puzzle but bear in mind that birds have a higher temperature than us. I hope she will be okay now.

Thanks guys! The feather protector suit is actually like clothes for her, but it helps to keep her from plucking. I guess it is a common thing cause there was a lot to choose from. I agree, Jane, It is really weird that her skin got hot, but she seems to be fine now and she is a lot more active. I moved her cage to the window and she seems to enjoy it a lot more!!! ;D
