I'm just sat upstairs on my PC, and it's Charlies hour of the 'Chatting Marathon'. He's somewhow 'mastered the art' of laughing ! I gather you've all seen that video of the famous bird, Einstein (sp?), and you hear her Evil Laugh ? Well it sounds a bit like that, but more deep and long tonned, it's so funny ! I have NO IDEA where he has gotten it from, though ! He's also started saying again . . Charlie : 'Maria' Me : 'What ?' Charlie 'Alright?' ;D Why are Parrots so amazing ? Merry Christmas Folks !

I LOVE it when parrots laugh! It's so funny. I wish Nikko did it more often.

The more you and the people around you do it, the more Nikko will do it! Joshua laughs all the time ... sometimes in quite a histrionic manner. Mmm, not sure about that one. Lidia

Mitzi imitates my laugh. The trouble is, when I hear her doing it I start laughing again and then it becomes a vicious circle!

Yup! been there. My wife would laugh at Pete laughing at her to the point that she would 'snort' at the end. Pete picked up the snort and used it to make her laugh so hard that she begged me to make him stop. She would have to leave the room holding her side!

Not sure of what? The Latin adjective for Actor? Somehow evolving into Drama or Dramatic in English. You get $5 on account or gift certificate for the most obscure word ever used on the forum.

Whoa there, Nelly! You are reading too much into the word! I meant that he sometimes turns my laugh into something quite dramatic and almost operatic, laughing in a way that I actually don't! Obscure? Hardly. Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year, and don't forget to give Andi a slice of her cousin, Turkey. I am now off to the family gaff for too much food, quarrels and much wine. Best to all! Lidia
