I have a two questions. 1. How to learn he to give us to touch him? 2. How we make him come on our hand? We try to touch him from 2 weeks, but without success. He is very fast and he can to fly, but he don't angry for that, he still come to us.

I think that because you didn't have Koko when he was a baby he is a bit more set in his ways and that is why it is more difficult to get him to let you touch him, especially as you have been trying for several months now since you got him last November. Some greys just don't like to be touched. If the step-up training just isn't working, does he ever go down on the floor? It is often easier to get a reluctant bird to step on your hand from the floor because they feel more vulnerable down there.

Thank you, Jane We will try that. About touch... We thing if don't caress him before he don't khow how nicely is that while he don't try. I think he has gone through a lot, his wing (if you remember) probably has been broken and he is a little wary about touch.

They can be quite wary of hands too. Have you tried gently stroking him with the tip of your nose? (NOT recommended unless you totally trust a bird not to bite, but birds will sometimes let your face come nearer to them than your hands)

I catch him 2 times in my hands when he be down on the floor and move him on the cage. When he be in my hands he try to fly and he croak. I don't like this forcible method, but i don't see other way. About the nose. I sure he don't bite me, because some times he stay very close to my face. I give him kiss from low distance. I try to touch him with nose, but when i almost touch his beak he draw back. I try that before and the result was selfsame.

I think catching him might make him more wary. If he is on the floor though it might be easier to get him to step on your hand. If Mitzi finds herself on the floor she will step onto my husband's hand - this is the only time she will, even though she is fully flighted.
As you can get your face near to Koko, keep on doing this and perhaps put your head down and see if he will groom your hair. In time he may mimic you and put his head down, inviting you to stroke it.
P.S. I have just read your post, we must have been writing at the same time. I am glad to hear your news!
