Today my daughter sat next to Cochi on the floor, (where he was entertaining himself with the towels I was folding) and he fluffed out his feathers and jumped towards her at least four times. Later on he was all over her being very loving. Now, my question is..... Is he being aggressive by making himself look bigger and lunging towards her? or.....Is he just learning and exploring all of these new things he can do? He has never bitten anyone ever?? Thanks, Laura and Cochi

This is fairly normal behaviour. Cochi might have felt your daughter was invading his territory a little. Puffing up the feathers is something they do in response to either a person, an object, or a situation they are not too sure about. Greys are very strong willed and tend to decide when and who they want to play with at a particular time and, as you saw, Cochi was being very loving later on. If he starts lunging and biting then that should be curbed but otherwise he is just showing you he has an opinion!
