Well, she's healthy but now she is plucking her feathers out. The vet thinks she had a reaction to the air freshner in my car or something in my house. I'm not sure but I want her to stop!! What do I do??? confused Mommy, Ashley

Take the air freshener out of the car and don't have any in the house either. Spray her with warm water if you can and keep the humidity up but plucking can be complicated.

Did the vet test for infection or fungus? That will also cause plucking. I hope you can find out what it is soon so you can get him to stop!! Good luck!!

I've also seen a lot of sites on the internet regarding feather plucking and solutions...try doing a search, there were too many to mention here.
