can someone tell me when the greys start talking? I have a female about a year now, she's all mumbly is it true males talk quicker?

They can start at any time from a few months to over a year. They often sound unclear for a while as it takes them time to master some words and they can be shy, so they tend to "practise" for a while first. I don't believe there is any real difference between the male and female in terms of ability.

We don't know the gender of our bird but he talked at 6 months. Now he talks even in his sleep.
