I started Kione on this by mistake, The woman I bought the food from said to give that only 3 days a week safflower, cracked corn, green split peas whole wheat, red milo, feed oats, whole corn, peanut kernels, oat groats, pumpkin seeds.
I also give carrots and apple and offer other stuff to which he turns his beak up!! He squawked and squawked yesterday because he was hungry. My husband finally gave him formula.
What should I do???

Mine have a mix similar to that but also pellets as well.
If he still wants his formula give it to him but provide a variety of other things for him to try and you can also give him some warm pureed baby food (fruit and vegetables), mashed sweet potatoes and similar.
