my bird is starting to feel a little heavy can you tell me if i am feeding her to much. i leave a mix of plain and fruit zu preen pellets in her cage at all times at night i give her fruit and vegtables every other night when i give her vegatables it is usually a stalk of celery half a carrot and some sqaush or zucuhnni she never eats all of it i leave it for a half a day. when i give her fruit is is usually half an apple a strawberry and some dried pappaya and pineapple. same thing she never really eats all of it. then for treats over a couple of days she will have 4 to 6 nutriberries and 15 to 20 sunflower seeds. with the fruit and vegatables i mix in a 1/4 of tsp of missing link vitiamin powder. Does this sound like a healthy diet she seems to be happy and healthy. thanks for all your help

Can you weigh her? The best thing to do is keep a weight record and also feel the keel bone. You should be able to feel the keel bone. Weight varies amongst Greys so it is important to know what is normal for yours. She can have vegetables and fruit every day.
