I haven't used either of those, I use a small sprayer for airplants although I have used bigger ones as well. I think it would be best to just use an ordinary one to start with and see how the bird takes to it because you would have to keep stopping and starting anyway to begin with.

I have tried several, not the same as you were asking but similar. The one I find most useful is the one you pump to increase air pressure in the bottle and then you simply press the lever and a continuous spray is released. The nozzle on these can be set from a very fine mist to a stronger jet stream flow. They cost a bit more but I find them more practical and Trinnie seems to be less agatated by it.
