My Louie is a year old, and I try so hard to get her to eat different things, but all she will actually consume is sunflower seeds. She turns her head whe I offer her anything. I've tried eating whatever it is I want her to eat in front of her, but, ???I know this is unhealthy, but how do I get her to eat pellets, or fruit for that matter? She does like grapes, but I have to peel them for her, which I do religiously. HELP!

Louiesmom, Hi, what about squeezing grape juice onto the pellets to make them more acceptable if she loves grapes? (Sorry if this has been included in any of the threads peeps have put on) Also when introducing pellets, seed should be gradually reduced. (Though I still offer my grey a couple of teaspoons of seed per day, along with a little bit of fruit and a vegetable mash served warm), amongst other thing he gets, ie, chicken, rice, sprouted seeds and pulses (which I am still experimenting with!! ;D .

I'll try the grape juice thing- thanks! I recently brought my baby red factor home, and she is still eating baby food, some of which Louie is eating, too. I guess, if I can keep that up the rest of my life, Louie and the baby will always be healthy! ;D
