How is your bird's behavior aside from the biting and vomiting? Is he/she less active, more quiet, lacking appetite, etc.? If so, the bird may be ill; otherwise, your bird may be either feeling you out or testing your temper with the nibbling and expressing love with her vomiting.
Greys tend to use their beaks kind of like a third hand for testing things out. Bella, my grey, prefers to mouth rather than pick up most things. If your bird is biting hard but doesn't exhibit any other changes in behavior, it may be trying to gauge your reaction and figure out who the "boss" in your family is.
Regurgitation is often times a sign of love and affection. Your grey is trying to show you that it can be a good mate and provider.
It sounds to me like your grey is just feeling you out. However, if your grey is acting much differently than it usually does, you might want to take your bird to a vet.

The rubbing of the beak and the 'playful' biting sounds very much like your CAG is exploring you and testing your boundaries! The regurgitation behaviour is, as both Bella and AN said, a sign of affection and bonding. Parents regurgitate for their unweaned babies, and partnered birds regurgitate during courtship, breeding and other such behaviours. Don't let the nipping get out of hand, unless the AG is just exploring you with its beak, but not actually biting. Discourage the regurgitation, but combine this with love and affection, hugs, kisses, soft words and general lovey-doveyness!. Lidia

It is a way among the birds to show they love you. In nature they will feed each other in this way as part of their mating routine. Both of mine is doing it very often. It is not throwing up, but bringing food from the crop to feed you. My mom have a Blue Fronted Amazon and he did it with her when she was kissing him. She was very upset cause she got a few seeds in the mouth.
