i gave my baby some banana today for the first time, it took her 2 mins to mash it, play with it, eat some and cover her head with it, it took me 1 hour to clean the walls, floors my hair and my t- shirt, but she was very funny to watch cos she was having so much fun ......... not sure i will be giving banana every day lol....

I know what you mean. I give mine banana; I haven't eaten a whole banana in years because I always save some for them. I find it is much less messy to feed it directly to them although I do sometimes just put it in their bowl and wait for the consequences!

I mash it up, put it in a big syringe and feed it that way, otherwise it is as Su describes!

good tip, Lidia I will try that, not sure how she will take to it but its worth a try cos she loved it, p.s i've named her "Indy" cos she's little miss Independant !!

Indy is brilliant name, Su, good choice!
I would imagine that Indy will probably like being fed with a syringe as she probably got some of her hand feeding that way. You need a fairly big syringe, one that will hold about 50mls, so that the nozzle is large enough for banana to squeeze through. Joshua will take pretty well anything if it comes from a syringe, a useful thing to know if you have get supplements or medicine in.
