It is possible, some talk when they are a few months old others don't talk until they are one or two years old. The average is sometimes said to be a year for actually starting to talk, so that allows for quite a range. However, as you say, it could also be that she won't ever talk. I have one that talks and one that doesn't.

Joshua didn't speak until he was two years old and, if it's any consolation at all, he hasn't shut up since! I think two years old is still pretty young, and I have heard of greys who didn't speak until they were three or four. Lidia

If they are sleeping or naping is the peaceful time around here. The rest of the time they are always talking to each other. Its great.

My Mina still doesn't talk. We have recorded a casette with our voices saying hello all the time. We tend to play the cassette when we're upstairs having a shower and Mina is alone in the kitchen. She tries to pronouce hello in a whistling tone. I am nearly sure that about 3 weeks ago she said hello twice in a row, whilst we were listening to her from upstairs. However, she has never done it again, therefore, I decided to believe that it must have been our imagination. I will not give up as yet.
