Okay, well I've read around a lot, and no one really seems to agree what the proper diet for my grey sould be. I have three bowls in his cage and two on top. One in the cage and one on top have a spicy food mix I bought at the petstore. It has peppers and corn and other various things and he seems to love it. The second bowl inside his cage has like a mix of fruit stuff (kind of resembles trix cereal, actually), and then the other two bowls are water. I give him peanuts as a special treat from time to time, as well as fresh peppers and carrots. I've tried giving him other fresh vegitables, but he seems to take enjoyment only out of tearing them apart and making the biggest mess he can. I'm concerned that his diet may not be top-notch. Anyone have any advice on what I can give my (apparantly) picky eater?

Yes, there is still a lot of disagreement about what is the ideal diet for a Grey. I put some info here but it is only a guide: vdnent.proboards41.com/index.cgi?board=GreyHealth&action=display&thread=1117718198Mine have a bowl each with a mix of various seeds, pulses, dried fruit, grains and nuts plus some pellets and Nutriberries. They have vegetables, fruit, and rice or pasta on a daily basis, plus whatever else we have that is suitable. They also have scrambled egg, chicken or fish, perhaps once or twice a week. Jane
